Gustavo instead of appropriating the aesthetics of traditional Brazilian chairs and armchairs, sought to understand more deeply the habits and corporal behavior of the people.
Knowing that his hometown is full of contrasts, being a metropolis immersed in the forest, he tried to work with this multiplicity of the Carioca character, making a chair with a seated seat, inspired by the beach chairs, but with materials and language adapted to the urban scene and international cities.
designer started from a straight and rational structure to support the soft and natural fabric.
